Holiday Party at La Puerta Azul postponed to Monday, December 15th.
The weather can wreak havoc on plans this time of year, and our holiday party was no exception. Due to the impending ice storm on the 11th, the Harlem Valley Chamber Holiday Party is postponed until Monday, December 15th, 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm at La Puerta Azul on Route 44 in Millbrook (across from Troop K). Great food, networking, 50/50, door prize and more. $15 for members, $20 non-members, cash bar. Please RSVP by Tuesday, December 9th to Jeanne Rebillard. New Website and directory: Look for our new website to be up by the first week in January. It will include a new directory. Our directory was lost in a systems migration by the ISP on December 1st. If you're a member and you have a logo that you want posted to the directory, please email a jpeg to Madelynn at I-Madness Interactive Media. mad@i-madness.com. If you have new descriptions, winter hours, mid-winter specials and more, please email that information also.
Website Advertising: Website advertising will begin on the new website in January 2009. We will be posting the rates shortly and sending out an email. Harlem Valley Expo: The Harlem Valley Expo is cancelled for 09. With the Silo Ridge Resort Community project anticipated to break ground in 2009, Silo Ridge was unable to accommodate our event. They have told us that they will be glad to host us again when they reopen in 2011. We thank Silo Ridge for their generosity in hosting the event in 2008 and look forward to returning to their site when they reopen.
